Trump is bring chip manufacturing back to tje u.s.. we have the only supply of pure silicon thst is currently publicly known on earth in tennessee. We should stay vertically integrated and produce our own chips. I think taiwan will have less to worry about in the future as china is going to become a different freer country.
Every Nation should reshore as much Manufacturing independence, as possible. The pollution from shipping is astronomical.
Two mines in North Carolina are the world's only producer of the quartz necessary for semiconductor manufacturing, not Tennessee.
China is not becoming freer, Taiwan isn't going to surrender without a fight.
