Village. Special needs school. Next to it an immigration center is built geared towards housing temporarily males between 16 and 35.
Every Village is being targeted by the central Dutch government to house immigrants. ( Sort of sandwich spread but more killing and toxic)
Every mayor of a village/town is a member of a security triangle. Usually a large town mayor is allowed to issue orders which a local mayor has to abide by.
Because a demonstration against such a facility was ongoing, the mayor issued an order designating the area as a security risk area. This means, even if you were to live there, the moment you would step into public land, you need to carry ausweiss, and you need to show it on first demand. Any hesitation and police MAY arrest you for identification under duress ( legal term ;allowed. ) Of course the way in which this happens may differ. Every officer has discretion and consideration.
However, many Dutch politicians no longer know the difference between a clear and present threat, the perception of a threat, or are happy with dissenting voices as it is considered a threat to their system.
Police officer often circulate between several cities and towns, and no longer know who they are serving.
When governance becomes striving for security, freedom is gone. That is what we see happening in The Netherlands.
That said, the other day there was a bigger demonstration and there was a call upon police officers. Perhaps I will post the call itself later on.
