Unions suck. I despised working with unions because the vast majority of their rules and regulations are put into place to slow down productivity. Just look at all the safety crap a worker must put out, don, or utilize just to screw in a bolt. It's fifteen minutes of getting the worksite "safe" just for fifteen seconds of screwing. My hair is on fire thinking about the nonsense unions force businesses to comply with.
While I concur with 99% of your argument, I also believe personnel safety of the workforce is paramount, and yes streamline the safety guidelines to increase productivity.

I'm not anti union, but I am anti union leadership, as everyone should be.
I probably shouldn't be saying the following here, but this is as good a place as any-
What if I told you that there are illegals in the union right now? And they don't have to jump through all the bullshit hoops American citizens do?
In "sanctuary cities" they are not required and can't be forced to reveal union workers information. There are signs up in the buildings explaining how to comply (ie refuse to comply)with immigration.
I was surprised and disgusted this certain union I'm speaking of came out anti ice months ago. My coworker filled me in: "They bring in illegals and they work with us." He pointed at a coworker about 10 feet from us. " Don't bring this up again"
I wrote the Whitehouse and received a response about looking into all labor practices, but I'm sure it's a stock response.
