When I taught HS, too many of my students families were on SNAP. They were also mostly overweight. They would scream the loudest at any suggestion of a cut.
"General welfare" is what the military provides by keeping us safe. It was never meant for a government program that was named "Welfare" for the sole purpose of fooling people. If they had named it "Handouts Mostly for Lazy People," it would never have flown.
They are too stupid to realize their dinner comes from the hard work of their neighbors. The free rides need to end. If you can breed, you can work. If you are old and need a helping hand, that's a different story.
