Until we institute the state mental institutions we had in the 50s and 60s this problem will continue to grow. Though those programs had some faults they were self sufficient communities with farms, food service, laundry and many other jobs that allowed a community to survive. These people have lost their way and need help in becoming a productive citizen. Bring them in detox them and assign them a duty to get back on the right path. I donβt fault many of these people but they need help. Quit funding other countries until we fix our own.
I met a man at the local coffee shop that asked me to buy him a coffee, he was reluctant at first to acknowledge my purchase of the coffee for him. After a few days of buying him coffee he finally acknowledged me and reached his hand and told me his name. So my new friend Bill who is struggling in life. I know itβs hard to believe my good will might help someone that is struggling. But that is what god has asked me to do. And I will continue to do it as long as I have the means. Might not help but maybe?
Iβm not in it for the benefit of myself. I could care less. maybe buying a cup of coffee for someone having hard times may lift their spirits. Sometimes Iβm hoping that reaching out to someone might help them realize someone actually cares. Not saying I can change anyone. But god tells me I should try.π

But are they more deserving of institutional help than the psychopaths that created the corruption that put them there ?
Should these seemingly functional psychopaths be prevented from running/influencing our political system by institutionalization if necessary ?

The benefit is always greater for the giver. As for Bill , hope is a powerful thing.
I hope the psychopaths that have been punishing the rest of Humanity get what they deserve here on Earth and in Heaven. May they know Bill's pains.

Should we just live in a zombie apocalypse.?
I prefer change.
