Pompeo is right in that any deal that leaves the Iranian regime intact only emboldens them to continue exporting their revolution - they will not stop. That is a guarantee. There can be no meeting of the minds through negotiations with that bunch of religious ideological zealots or their more "moderate" pragmatic zealots. They are all corrupt evil bastards. Any survival of the regime is a win for them and a surrender for the US. I really don't see any other way out of this. There is no deal that can be made with the devil. You will always lose.
