Oh I know things are bad in Washington, and that Covid in America was a shitshow. We agree on that. My whole thing adds up to, still better than russia. That's all. I've had an incredibly good run in these here united states. Been raised up by happy people that traveled the world. I've been lucky to travel some of it myself, along with a visit to most of the states and many of the biggest cities. Grand parents on mothers side, and then my parents went to Russia. All have the same report. Russia ain't shit compared to this country. I believe them.
That is probably true. But I look at Seattle today and compare it to what I knew of it 60 years ago, and today it is shit compared to then. I continue to hear similar cases from California, which I also remember from long ago. Likewise, Oregon. There are some dire things at work in this country and those in the heartland can be seriously harmed by bad things going down in the big cities. We are a body politic, and a cancer anywhere can bring death to the whole.
What am I going to do? I don't know. Stay alert. I have a firearm collection...but it is based on the principle that, whatever ammo I can get my hands on, I have something that can shoot it. I also think that modern times make the .45-70 Government something of a secret weapon! Stay frosty, fren.
