Literally every single public servant needs to be fired, pensions revoked and then forced to re interview for their “job”, with citizens, preferably business owners doing the interviews.
While most of them are criminally incompetent, there is a huge amount of corruption and unaccountability.
We also need to jail several hundred of past and present senior public servants for treason and economic sabotage.
Sadly, this cycle you speak of is what always happens when socialist progressives gain power. Western Europe in particular is at a very dangerous point. Many Europeans have woke up, but their voices are being silenced and even criminalized. Like I already stated, they have no reverse gear or ability to self correct. The goal is to retain power - no matter the cost. Centralized socialist governance is destroying them. But the leadership only knows how to double down by stealing from the people until they run out of people to tax. Now they are full of foreigners that are not going to like it when their welfare payments are stopped because there is no money - them and the rest of the freeloaders.
