Thank you for this comment. It relieves me from the feeling that I needed to raise this with the Mods, as a huge disconnect with the no-racism / no-division rule.
I am an engineer by training and profession. It is all very well to have a theory about a physical problem of the system, but there is no credence to such a theory (and no solution) until there is PHYSICAL evidence to confirm the theory. A court of law is the same thing. So my challenge is: Show me the evidence. I don't accept theories as evidence. A possible motive is not evidence.
When no evidence is put forth and the argument descends to mass appeals ("everyone knows") and ad hominem, that pretty much tells me all I need to know.
Regarding JFK, I am quite open to the idea that more is behind the scenes than has come to light. (There seems to have been a possible backup shooter unknown to Lee Harvey Oswald, in the book repository.) But it hasn't come to light, recent disclosures notwithstanding.
