I just asked Grok since it’s the X AI. Results:
Yes, they refer to the same account (or its evolution). @ilSharko
was the original/earlier handle used by the popular il Donaldo Trumpo parody account (known for its broken-English, humorous Trump-style posts). It later changed to variations like @PapiTrumpo
(or @ilPapiTrumpo
in some references).
tigerdroppings.com
Users and posts from 2021 frequently link @ilSharko
directly to il Donaldo Trumpo.
@PapiTrumpo
Later references (including in 2025) note the name change from @ilSharko
to the PapiTrumpo branding.

The account is a well-known parody (explicitly labeled as such in its bio), not an official Trump account. It has a large following and style that matches across the handles.

They are not separate accounts — it's the same user rebranding over time. Fake copycat accounts sometimes pop up mimicking it.
I had never gone and tracked the first @papitrumpo posts (it's a huge pain to do so in Twitter), but apparently this was the first post (correct me if I'm wrong):
It looks like early on there were many competing accounts, but major conservative players on Twitter naturally gravitated towards, or were instructed to follow this one and it got massive followers very quickly.
The easiest way to view these early posts is by querying X like so:
from:PapiTrumpo since:2021-01-01 until:2021-05-05
There may be a bit of a clue for the account's creation a year earlier, where it mentions AI tooling being created to counter anons, and that support would be provided through "undisclosed methods".
This whole dig was prompted by AI conversation where I tried to query it on the likelihood of @papitrumpo being under Trump's control in some manner and to their credit, if you feed it the facts of the situation it agrees that is the case (whereas if it queries "the news" it will give a retarded response).
It just endlessly amuses me that Trump has had this account hiding in plain sight for over 5 years now and while many patriots kinda know it's his, zero NPCs know or can even comprehend it, that it somehow escaped Twitter's "control" (indicating they had none or were beyond inept), and that despite the wealth of "hot" takes on it that could be considered political liabilities, none of the legacy media is interested in reporting on it.
Like, how is that not a home run, fun story? "Inside Scoop on the 'secret' account Trump used while being officially banned from Twitter." Are journalists inherently boring, unimaginative, incurious people?
It looks like Brick Suit may have been one of the first to really endorse it:

Self correction: the first posts appear gone from Twitter's internal data but are here on archive.org:

Journalists know what topics not to touch.
