Well... how about this. Iran was demanding the immediate release of $24 billion in frozen assets held in Qatar. The U.S. plans to keep our forces in the region of Iran for the next 30-days.
I see a deal in the making. Iran can get access to $1 Billion per day, ONLY if they play nice, keep the Strait of Hormuz open to all ships free of charge, lay no mines and don't shoot any missiles or drones at any ships or other countries.
If Iran can do that for 7-days, then they get access to $7 Billion ($1 Billion for each day). If they can do that for 24 days in a row, then they get access to all $24 Billion of their frozen funds.
If Iran shoots ONE missile, one drone, lays one mine, confiscates or attacks one ship, then they get to skip a day with NO funding. If they shoot TWO missiles or two drones or attack two ships... then they get TWO days with NO funding.
You can't give it to them all at once. Make them earn it. How hard is it for Iran to NOT attack anyone for 24-days in a row? We can find out.
