Papa is slang for dad or father in many languages. Correct Spanish vernacular for father or dad is Padré. Correct French is Père.
Someone needs to try and force a slip up and ask him questions in Spanish to see if he makes a mistake. It wouldn't be direct proof, but it would be another point of consideration.
