I never know what to make of comments like these, having no firsthand experience and not trusting most testimonials on account of all the hatred that flows from many people, but I just saw one from a Jewish Christian in a pro-Israel ministry who had the exact experience of having had an Orthodox Rabbi spit on her in the street.
The reaction should still be different (“turn the other cheek” absolutely applies here - offer them the other one to spit on, kek), but the event itself is confirmed for me now.
Probably took me 20 minutes to find this comment, couldn’t remember who made it, but wanted to let you know what I saw.
