I was wondering if anyone has had any success in an alternative to rotator cuff/shoulder surgery and what that alternative is?

Warning: cortisone may or may not work for a time, but it always degrades the tissue. IMHO it is not worth it. YMMV,
I know. I did a ton of research on it, and the Doctor told me of the side effects, but in all honesty - at 81, the shoulder is degraded now to the point that I know a replacement SHOULD be done. I just do not want to go thru the surgery and rehab.
I did enough of it for the other shoulder, the hip, the neck, and I am just a skeletal that has deteriorated after too much time working outside for hours and doing things that is frowned on by other women. Shoveling, oil changes, installing appliances, Installing overhead lights, etc. And I am a OCD person so everything I ever did HAD to be perfect-at least as perfect as I could make it.😄
My husband and I are very healthy for our age. He still works part time at Home Depot after years with the Pipe Fitter's Union. And I still do as much as I can taking care of a home that is 3600 square feet. My oldest son told me I am in so much pain because I am always cleaning. 🤣 But it does keep me going.
So the x-rays show my shoulder is bone on bone and the shots do work for a short time. So I take that short time to do what I can and then pray to GOD for miracle shoulders. 🙏
When the time comes I will simply quit and hope that I was able to finish what needed to be done, as an OCD person. Until then, I will put my pain in the hands of the Holy Spirit.
God Bless!
