The obvious problem is the people in Iran saying they want to make a deal do not control Iran's military or its propaganda machine. There can be no deal unless all of Iran agrees to a deal.
It used to be when you defeated a country's military, they surrendered, agreed to terms, and the world went on about its business. Not with these animals. As long as the IRGC remains in control, there will be no deal they will honor. Ever.
I'm getting tired of hearing how they want to make a deal while at the same time they break the ceasefire while continuing to shout "Death to America!"
