Why should people with deportation orders get more time and attention than an American arriving in the USA on an international flight?

Do you have a visa?

Do you have proof you are American?

Do you have proof that you left a dangerous country and the first safe country you reached is the USA?

No need for courtroom drama like Perry Mason.
