The best defense I could make for Massie is that he sincerely believes what he says, but the net effect of his political career has maintained the status quo.
That’s why in spite of Massie’s rhetoric being diametrically opposed to other causes Yass supports, Yass recognizes Massie’s votes will almost always block real change. And, blocking real change is the objective.
Yeah, that's my thinking on it, given everyone else seems to want the status quo to return.
