It just takes one person with a meaningless life to ruin everything. The HOA seems to be a mini version of government in general.
Both seem to attract the dregs of society, useless people who are offered power for once in their lives.
For some, they can’t control their ego’s, the urge to control and dictate is too much. These people belong nowhere near a decision making role.
