Wow, I need to watch it again. When you get finished watch Scandal. I watched it when it first came out. Recently watched it again & oh boy it’s déjà vu! It’s scary how many TV series are predicting our lives. I saw a commercial for Last Ship, an old series. I had forgotten about the details. It’s about finding a cure (vaccine) to share with the world.
The MAO-a2r gene, shit, this is crazy. Discovered in 1993. Did you know that 23andme actually offers a raw genetic data file and can actually be used to determine if someone has that gene? Did you know that women are more likely to be affected than men? Did you know that 23andme can be compelled to give up that information by governments? This is the craziest TV show! People talk about the X files, this is way crazier.
I haven’t watched X files, maybe I should. I’m terrible with remembering things that happened in shows. I watched Blacklist from the beginning. I love the Raymond actor, forgot his name. I didn’t know that about 23 & me or the gene. I’ve always been fascinated with history and my family genealogy. I got ancestry DNA a long time ago. It probably wasn’t the smartest decision, oh well it’s already done. (Was) interested in family history until I found out my 4th or fifth great grandfather was brought to NC by the king to help with the government. He was a governor or assistant gov, his nephew was a governor. He helped with getting the Indians out of NC. That bothered me so much I don’t research anymore. My husband watches those shows that tell about murders and the cops are interviewed. One episode they figured out a sheriff was a serial killer and they found him through an ancestry DNA database. It’s good that helped but scary so many people have access to the DNA.
After just season 1, I’m going to say that Blacklist is way better than X files, and I watched all of the X files. Another interesting show was Fringe, that was definitely way out there stuff.
I believe I watched two episodes of Fringe & quit for some reason. Most likely because I didn’t have dvr & another show peaked my interest more.
Most recent episode I watched, beginning of season 2, harvesting organs for the rich.
