Oh dear, oh dear. This is what you get when you promote incompetence and your training logs are packed with DEI waffle, never mind actually training officers about the law - this is how we do it now. Please no microaggrssionisms.
And all the other issues, such as having immigrants from all stripes housed together with 'normal people'. But that was by design., wasn't it? Funny that. "Blood and Guts lane" is a road-name on the British map, as is "Smuggler's lane". One can find bullet-holes in historic buildings form people that didn't agree with popes in another country.
I would just like to reflect on the Romans, who wanted to do a census somewhere in their Empire, for tax-collection purposes - the one that Mary and Joseph got caught up in, while she was heavily pregnant.

I saw a videio on you tube yesterday somone made in the UK about how to defend yourself with a stick. Not a long pointy stick like a spear or a beffy stick like a club. That would make a little sense. But a regular stick like you picked up in your yards.
My self defense options are big bore revolver or high capacity auto,or possibly a small pocket pistol or switchblade......
I though maybe it was a comedy so I clicked on it. Poor dude was serious.
Plum, that has coppiced is the best stick. IMO, blackthorn is almost impossible to find these days. Get one with a knot for a handle. You can use it green..

I have heard of bodark, To me it sounds like wood-of-the-Ark, but apparently the French named it after the fact that it made good bows, after they saw American natives using it.
It's so hard,you might think its not even wood. Also extremely rot resistant,fence posts still good after 100 years. Also the " apples" from the trees are supposed to keep out insects. I used to find them in the crawl spaces of homes i inspected all the time.....
If you’ve ever seen an Irish Shillelagh, you would reconsider. One of them in trained hands can be lethal.
