Her problem is that she and her husband were so arrogant that they didn't do the least but to create an aura that the investment firm was real. If you're going to steal $30 million of taxpayer money, at least spend $200k on some offices with wood paneling, real furniture and a receptionist. Create the basic appearance of legitimacy. But they were so greedy they could do the minimum to deceive the naive public.
Exactly...this is such a sloppy job...almost as if they are idiots and assumed arrogant American's would never look into their affairs...
Like zero effort to hide tracks here....so what does that tell us...They were told they'd be protected or are protected because you can't just be this arrogant or stupid if you are taking on this much risk
That fact that she's still in office and not in a prison cell speaks volumes about the rest of the Legislative Branch members and their own shady dealings.
It is so frustrating...you know if it was private sector any shade of doubt and the person would be fired until their innocence was proven in court...yet entirely different set of standards which again means that someone/something is "protecting" this behavior.
Listen if Steve Forbes is going on record saying this is fraud lets finally prosecute these people. Everyone is sick of nobody addressing the elephant in the room...its plain and obvious fraud. Hold these people accountable...if we can't then the system is beyond repair
