I'd have to know more about deployment geography. Missile interceptions generally occur in the terminal approach area to the target, but the interceptors must be launched from that terminal zone. Israel is far from the Persian Gulf where the Navy interception systems (Aegis) is located. Unless they are talking about Patriot and THAAD systems already in Israel.
