This could be what gave Buzz Aldrin a severe nervous breakdown.
Did he travel to Antarctica? Or are you referring to some blue ice wall that explorers have been trying to get through?
We went there in 2016 as a tourist and was flown to NZ to be treated at a Wellington Hospital for what people said was a nervous collapse. While there he tweeted "We are all in great danger, it is evil itself" accompanied by a picture of an icy pyramid. He removed this tweet a few hours later but not before people had screenshotted it.
John Kerry went there the day after DJT was elected, but why? There is certainly something weird going on there, Theresa May when she was PM of the UK mentioned that the British army was there, the USMC are there:

Looks like an entrance to a cavern with a round door that is open. Very bizarre.

I doubt the whole photograph. Not enough information to specify coordinates in Google Earth to confirm its authenticity. There is a jarring difference in apparent resolution between the object and the background. The object looks like a black bowler hat and a grey trash bag.
