When I look around in the real world, outside of social media,
I don't see white people and black people fighting in large numbers.
When I start seeing millions of white and black Americans who work together every day in corporate America suddenly fighting each other at work, then I'll believe something major is going on.
Look at NCAA sports for example.
Black and white athletes work together as teammates every day.
The coaches are often both black and white as well.
Do we see NCAA football and basketball teams constantly breaking into racial conflicts?
No, we do not.
Most people are simply trying to go to work, take care of their families, build careers, win games, and live their lives.
Social media often amplifies conflict because conflict gets attention.
But the reality most people experience day-to-day looks very different from what is constantly pushed online.
