I've noticed the last couple of days that soccer fans coming to the World cup here have been absolutely in awe of the United States, how friendly we are, the culture, the food, etc.
This of course after years of "Get the World Cup out of the US, it's a fascist state run by an orange dictator, blah blah blah.."
Anyway, aside from the high prices of everything, its it possible having the United States on the global stage is an opportunity for us to tell the world "This is what freedom can look like if you want it that badly"? An opportunity for people to come back and tell their leaders "We experienced what America was like and we want that, not whatever bullshit you're selling"
Thoughts?
The world will be watching.
These videos are the best part of my X feed right now!
I honestly had no idea where it was going to take place in the US. Did a quick look up. New Jersey?! No wonder the governor sent in the police to clean up the streets around the alien detention center right after Homeland Security made arrangements to remove their people from international flights to New York city.
