I used to have a friend who threw "fascist" around with much other ad-hominem name calling in regards to the President. The beginning of the end was when she called me and literally insisted that I "convince" her about why I support Trump. My response was that she'd already made up her mind, and in the interest of our friendship, we ought to just drop it. She kept going, and she got more and more wound up the more I refused to engage. I left it at the fact that I did not wish to be the devastator of her illusions that Trump is not all about actually fighting evil, which evil I feel certain she has no knowledge of. And she's a freaking school high-school teacher.
