I am trying. I will admit that I am at a bit of a loss when speaking to Iranian patriots that are feeling pretty discouraged right now. To them it looks like an American surrender. I can't say I blame them. It does look that way. Hoping that Trump has some other plan in the works other than what this looks like.
JD Vance stated on Fox, "Three things are important: the Strait of Hormuz will open immediately. Iran will never have nuclear weapons. If the Iranians honor the agreement, it will change the Middle East for the next 50 years. It will end the war, energy prices will drop for Americans."
In other words, all the confidence may be a bit premature. It does make the markets happy. Is Trump continuing to play the regime to fracture it from the inside even more than it already is? Ghalibaf and Araghchi may not survive this. They are the desperate ones. The regime supporters are demanding their heads for betraying their leader - the dead ayatoilet and his cardboard son that no one has seen. I prefer to keep applying economic pressure which is really causing them to turn on each other. All I know is that if this regime is allowed to survive, this will never be over for anyone - including us. They will not stop their ideological jihad.
Like I said, I am all ears.'''
