The agent sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover. No confirmation on whether the suspect was hit.

Freidrich (or Friedrich) Castillo-Ormeno, is a Peruvian national with a final deportation/removal order. He fled after striking an ICE agent with his vehicle. The agent fired shots at the van (reportedly hitting it, possibly the back window or tires), but the suspect escaped.
