This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.

Easier done than said. I have been off all media except for following the Great Awakening and politics, and instead been spending time reading olden day Japanese books. Literature and real history at the same time. Its quite amazing the kind of nuggets you gather when you read books written in 19th century and early 20th century
Yeah I should try that. I just moved into a new place and have boxes of old books and stuff that need to be sorted through but I have no furniture or anywhere to put it yet and so it seems kinda pointless. I just wish I had someone to share my life with it gets kinda lonely with nothing to do but stare at a screen and I can see through God's eye what is happening in the world and everything online is about how it's nothing and go back to sleep it's all coincidence bullshit but we are living through the GREATEST TIME PERIOD IN ALL OF HUMAN EXISTENCE and yet the masses of people just don't have a fucking clue.
One thing I've found through Christ is to lower my expectations of what the world has to offer me in regards to my personal validation and contentment raising from interactions with others.
It hasn't made me a hermit, it's instead made me humble and willing to accept things as they are (falling short of what I'd like them to). It's transformative.

i hear your frustration in the long wait for we who have been in this fight for a long time, cuz while it looks like nothing is happening, EVERYTHING is happening and slowly coming to light...and I understand your loneliness in not having someone to share honest dialog during this time...seems to me that with the GAW family, there is always someone online here, from around the globe, so stay engaged here if that will help...you are NOT alone, as we are all in service to the Lord...He wants to hear from you, and i have experienced that same loneliness at times also...if you are on amazon/audible, you might find it comforting to listen to their many books online, often narrated by the author himself/herself. Keep the faith, friend, God has promised deliverance.
I like reading old books and watching old movies to remind me of reality before it was so twisted recently. Not that everything was perfect back when, there has always been evil on this earth and the greatest power it has is lies.
Give me the animated contest of freedom instead of chains any day.
All I want is a good storyline. Something original and interesting, not the same overused plots that go nowhere and leave you wondering where your entire night went. I just wanted to say initially how crazy that we are living through what should be the greatest literary period in our cultures history but the mainstream media complex can't allow anyone to know about it so we are bombarded by fake astroturf all the time. I see my coworkers everyday just doomscrolling with no clue what going on.
