A parent is a parent first not a friend first. There in lies the problem…the fact that you don’t need a license to be a parent. IMHO
I told my kids, if they hate me by age 18, I did my job, they are now both veterans with bigger bank accounts than my wife and me!! Now we are best friends

Sad thing is, this video means nothing to parents whose kids are animals.
They don't see the country or the flag as representative of their interests. They have no pride. They hate the country for it's ancient sins. They see the flag as a sign of oppression.
There is no changing these people.
The kind who is an Eagle Scout as are his three brothers, the kind who has three Eagle Scout sons and one Eagle Scout grandson. Who is the son of a World War II vet and the kind of parent who wrote a book about raising great kids using the lessons of the Scout Law. The kind of parent that fought against removing prayer and the 10 commandments from our grade schools. We can still build great adults if we raise great kids!
My kid cannot sing, but if he had a gun in his hand during a teen riot, we'll let's say there will be some teens with holes in them.
My son is a combat Marine Gunnery Sergeant and retired from the US Marine Corps after 20 years of service.
My daughter earned her Masters Degree in English from Oxford University in London and is now a teacher at a private school in Connecticut.
That says it all in a nutshell.
