Please Pray for My Family Frens
Mental/Physical Health 🏋🏼♂️
Yesterday, we lost my beloved son, 34 yo, to what is most likely a fentanyl overdose. Our hearts are broken, although we know he sits at the big table with Jesus right now. Addiction is one of the most gut-wrenching things a family can go through, and it touches so many. Please keep us in prayer.
God bless you on this painful journey. Grief bends you so very low. I think that's why it attacks in waves because no human can survive it without respite. Adding anger to this emotion is beyong difficult.
In Compassionate Friends, I knew a woman who spent 10 years in grief and anger after her son was murdered. It was destroying her and her family. It's from her I learned the truth of "if you hate a man, he owns you." And one day she awakened and knew in her soul to "let go and let God".
I am so sorry. Words are not sufficient, but you shall see him again.
