"Brits" don't want to rejoin the EU. The BBC, media, elites, and the politicians want to rejoin the EU, and have been punishing the people for going against their desired outcome for almost 2 decades now.
The truth of the uk being in any way a part of the eu is that they never even voted on being a part of it. The pm back in 1972 just went "OK were in the common market" and never gave anyone a say.
As I recall, that PM was the pedo piano plonker Edward (Ted) Heath. He never married and nobody thought it weird. But he was queer in both senses of the word, along with others such as fattie Cyril Smith. All protected by the BBC of course. The British Botters Corporation. (Botter was a UK schoolboy term for homosexual, back then.)
