They usually let you know when it is time - at least mine did. When the pain and the struggle becomes too much for them, they let you know. Tears of grstitude . Yes 100 percent he is letting me know its not time , he jumps up and goes to door when he knows its the hours to wslk - morning and sunset . He goes in yard to lay in sun etc , He still runs for his ball ,, only once or twice instead of for 30 minutes ,, he does everything he did before just less and slower .
