One of my wife's relatives actually went outside with his gun and a pot on his head, ready to fight the Martians. Even missing the beginning of the show, it's hard to see how anyone with a shred of logic would believe that you could see a launch from Mars with a telescope and then have the Martians here destroying everything in way less than an hour.
I have the whole show on an album I bought over 50 years ago.
Part owner of ‘the sun’ at the time was Moses Yale Beach. A relative to the founders of Yale. Isn’t that where the skull and bones society was founded? In-ter-dasting……
