βAll of those countries that canβt get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, which refused to get involved in the decapitation of Iran, I have a suggestion for you: Number 1, buy from the U.S., we have plenty, and Number 2, build up some delayed courage, go to the Strait, and just TAKE IT."
"Youβll have to start learning how to fight for yourself, the U.S.A. wonβt be there to help you anymore, just like you werenβt there for us. Iran has been, essentially, decimated. The hard part is done. Go get your own oil!"
If we dont need oil from the strait of Hormuz, because America has soooo much of it, then why are we paying $3.5/gal when the production infrastructure has been paid off for decades? Are retirees pensions keeping the price up? Fat cat CEOs getting paid tens of millions of dollars to keep the price up artificially? How about cutting the taxes on the gasoline? Oh, sorry, if that were to happen then the counties couldn't pay for the new schools and teachers salaries. Gasoline ought to be a buck a gallon. Supply and demand. Demand goes up supply should go up which would cause the price to go down because of that supply. Jmtcw

It trades on the world market, like all commodities.
Amen to that!
I always think of gas station signs I saw in the Middle East showing gas at $0.25/ gallon, in recent years. It should be way cheaper here.
Here in Naples still $4.5 it sucks.
Hasn't he been telling them that for the past year or so? I'm pretty sure he's had this stance since his first term.
Ok, now tell this to israel.
