IMO, this is the direct result of the “wonderful” technology advancements we have achieved and advancement of “social media.” So many now long for the coveted programmed need to be recognized by “the world,” and in the leftist sphere, to be recognized as a “social” warrior and “hero” of some sick cause. This mega trending perceived need to have their brief moment of infamy has replaced God in young people’s lives, to the extent that they are unable to discern right from wrong, intent only on seeing how many “views” they get. They throw away their own lives while ending/destroying other people’s lives. Christ is the only answer.
