Good point… Maybe those who are considered so no matter when they became citizens, be required, When they’re of age, to go through a mandatory vetting process to see if they can retain that status… If they refuse to, whether they live here or abroad, revoking their status then, and or deportation, is the only option …
Also, for them to reenter the US they should be conversant in American history. There should be a requirement that all American citizens know who our founding fathers were, have read the Constitution and tell which Amendments do what, and they must wholeheartedly proclaim allegiance to America. Yet they will say this is too much of nature hardship just to claim their citizenship.
