If she was making $165 K base that is almost $80 per hour for a standard 2080 hour year. So overtime would have been $120 per hour and some unions pay double time for holidays and certain special circumstances , so $160 per hour. If she made $204 K in overtime, at time and a half that would be about 212 extra 8 hour shifts. Thats a lot but depending on what the union pay rules are a lot of those may have gone into double time also. So it could be done but she wouldn't have had much of a home life. I guess my question would be how much do her supervisors and managers make per year, and nobody cares. And how does anyone get a $16 K per month retirement ? Maybe 1.6 K ?
