Yes it is. There are so many good inspiring stories within American history that should make every American proud. The blood, sweat and tears to shape this great nation, against overwhelming powers.

Yet, all we get (at least what i got for history in my k-12 (thanks Maxwell family)) was 60% slavery, 30% trail of tears and 10% other.
