Well once in public domain anybody can use or claim ownership. So mebbe something old enough to have been public domained then claimed and 75 yr ownership expires for a third claim op? I took it from definition in old dictionary. Mebbe some kinda tech? 'the realm embracing property rights that belong to the community at large, are unprotected by copyright or patent, and are subject to appropriation by anyone'
