When you pray, ask and thank Him for discernment in all things so that you might continue to be shown what God wants you to see about the path you are on, in your journey home.
Premillennial dispensationalism garbage.
The antichrist was Nero. His image was on the coins and he demanded to be worshiped and killed Christians for not saying "Caesar is Lord"
The church understood this for 1800 years up until recently when the Rothschilds funded the publication and distribution of the Scofield reference Bible that put Israel Central the future fulfillment of prophecy (most of Revelation was already fulfilled with the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in 70 AD) and convinced Christians of the lie that they lose down here.
God wins.
Nero was (THE) Antichrist (you say). (1st John 2:18) says "You have heard that the Antichrist will come, NOW there are (MANY) antichrists" Nero a Antichrist yes!. (THE) Antichrist, No! What miracles did Nero do to cause the whole world to Marvel? When did Nero(before the eyes of the whole world) raise the false prophet who was mortally wounded (in the head) and lay dead for 3 days, imitating the resurrection of Christ?
Preach on believer. Thank you.
The Antichrist was anyone claiming to be the Christ because there were multiple and the Jewish scriptures said Christ would come before the destruction of the second temple which happened in 70 AD.
You're about 2,000 years after the appropriate time line bud.
You are assuming the very point that must be proved. Revelation is not a newspaper written to the 21st century. It is an apocalypse written to seven first century churches who were told these things would happen "soon" and that "the time is near" (Rev. 1:1, 3). If "soon" means two thousand years later, words have become rubber bands.
Your objection about miracles also assumes Revelation must be read as a CNN broadcast instead of prophetic symbolism. Revelation is filled with Old Testament imagery. The Beast's "mortal wound" echoes Daniel's beast imagery and symbolizes the apparent collapse and astonishing revival of imperial power. Even many non-preterist scholars acknowledge the widespread "Nero Redivivus" expectation in the Roman world, that Nero would somehow return after his death. John uses imagery his first century audience would have immediately recognized. Nero Caesar written in Hebrew, which is also numbers, equated to 666. Every Hebrew speaker at the time would have been able to easily see this and understand it.
The "whole world" is another assumption. Revelation repeatedly uses language inherited from the Old Testament, where "the whole earth" frequently refers to the known land or the Roman world, not every tribe with a Wi-Fi connection. Luke says "all the world" was taxed by Caesar (Luke 2:1). No one imagines the Aztecs were standing in line at the Roman tax office.
The real question is this: if Revelation was written to first century churches about events that were "near," why would its central villain not appear until twenty centuries after every original reader was dead? That interpretation turns Revelation into a sealed book precisely for the people it was written to encourage.
The postmillennial position is simple. Christ was enthroned at His ascension, judged apostate Israel and pagan Rome in history, and is now subduing His enemies through the advance of the gospel. The Beast was not the final obstacle to Christ's kingdom. He was another king who discovered that kicking against the goads is an expensive hobby. Christ is still on the throne, and His kingdom continues to grow until the earth is filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
With respect "yikes" here are some things for your consideration in no particular order. (2 Corinthians 13:1) says "Out of the mouth of two or three witnesses let every word be established"In light of Revelation 19:19-21 and Revelation 20:1-3 you have (in my opinion) based on scripture and impossible task of establishing that Nero was not just (a) Antichrist but (THE) Antichrist. Remember when you have a proper interpretation of scripture everything fits, try making Revelation 19 and 20 fit with Nero being the Antichrist. (You say) "The seven first century churches were told "SOON" and "THE TIME IS NEAR" (then you say) if "SOON"means 2000 years later than words have become rubber bands" You seem to have forgotten (2 Peter 3:8) where it is written ( "But do not overlook this fact (it seems you have) that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and A thousand years is as a day") and since (2 Timothy 3:16) says, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God" it is God who inspired John to write, "SOON" (2 Peter 3:8) says, "A thousand years is the same as one day to God, so IT'S CLEAR (soon) in the mind of God is not the same as soon in the mind of natural man who does not acknowledge the scriptures.I think we can agree that 2,000 years in light of eternity is soon, and you have a problem with your interpretation of soon.
Yikes right back at ya!
The appeal to 2 Peter 3:8 is one of the most common escape hatches in prophecy discussions, but it does not survive contact with the context.
First, 2 Peter 3:8 does not redefine the meaning of time words. Peter is not giving us a prophetic conversion chart where "soon" now means "a couple thousand years." If that were true, language would become meaningless. When God says "today," should we pack a lunch for a millennium? The point of Peter is that God is not slow because He is outside of time and patient, not that every chronological statement in Scripture is secretly elastic.
In fact, Peter explains exactly why the delay exists: "The Lord is... patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish" (2 Pet. 3:9). The subject is God's patience, not a prophetic dictionary.
Second, John's audience was not God. Revelation was written to seven real churches in Asia Minor. They were told these things "must shortly take place," "the time is near," and they were commanded to read, hear, and keep the prophecy. Why? Because it concerned their situation. If the central events were postponed for two thousand years, the book begins by assuring them of something utterly irrelevant to their lives. That's not encouragement. That's like telling a man whose house is on fire, "Good news. The fire department is scheduled to arrive in the year 4026."
Third, you appeal to 2 Corinthians 13:1 about two or three witnesses, but that passage is about establishing facts in church discipline, not constructing an eschatological method. If we're going to talk about multiple witnesses, then let's hear them all.
Jesus said, "This generation will not pass away until all these things take place."
John said, "The time is near."
James said, "The Judge is standing at the door."
Peter said, "The end of all things is at hand."
The author of Hebrews said, "Yet a very little while."
Those are not isolated verses. They form a chorus. Your interpretation asks us to believe that every one of them meant the opposite of what the original audience would naturally have understood.
Finally, I notice you've quietly shifted the goalposts. The discussion began with the Beast and Nero. Now it has become an argument over the word "soon." Even if we spent all day discussing "soon," that still would not prove futurism. You still have to explain why Revelation repeatedly identifies its fulfillment as imminent, why the Beast's number fits Nero Caesar, why the temple is measured as though it still stands, and why the book is addressed to first century churches facing first century persecution.
The postmillennial position is not built on one verse. It is built on reading the New Testament as though God expected the original recipients to understand it. Strange idea, I know. But before we make "soon" mean "after everyone reading this is long dead," the burden of proof rests on the one stretching the word, not the one reading it in its ordinary sense.
Escape hatches? No one escapes the truth. NEXT: You are right the (context) of (2Peter 3: 8) is God's patience desiring repentance but the (PRINCIPAL) that is taught in that verse covers more than that, otherwise God would have just said I am patient, giving you time to repent, there would be no need to explain (to us) that "a day is like a thousand years to the Lord and a thousand years is as a day" God made sure we knew that for a reason, so that when God says "SOON" we would realize what we think is soon is not what God means as soon, which is what I pointed out. Note: "At just the right time God sent Christ, though in the mind of God, Christ was slain before the foundation of the world" in God's mind Christ had already been crucified(roughly 6,000 years before Christ came) (a short time) to God. So you see it's done and yet it's not done. It's today and yet it's tomorrow. "Today is the day of salvation"as you alluded to. So is tomorrow not the day of salvation, for someone who reads it tomorrow? Next: I think you misunderstood me because (you say) John's audience was not God. True. I never thought or said John was talking to God. I simply pointed to scripture to show you that all scripture is given by inspiration of God therefore what John wrote was God inspired (God's thoughts)(God speaking) not John's own thoughts,or words. Therefore it is God speaking when he says "the time is short" or "at hand" and not John, therefore we must interpret it from God's point of view not man view of "short time". God had already told us that to him one day is as a thousand, therefore 2000 years is a short time. NEXT: 2nd Corinthians 13:1 is not a passage about establishing facts in (church discipline) (solely) but God giving us a benchmark to use in establishing doctrine. Scripture must confirm scripture, if a scripture (seems) to contradict another scripture, it is a sign that we have wrongly interpreted one of the scriptures. Therefore "we are to make sure by "The (WORD) (two or three SCRIPTURES) every bible principal is established. NEXT: I like that you pointed out "the time is near" "the judge is standing at the door" "yet a little while" I believe those scriptures makes my point. Case in point: in the way that you are using "the judge is standing at the door" establishes my interpretation not yours, since Christ has not returned yet, he's still standing at the door, how long ago was that written? Yet you infer that it should mean a little time. How about (Hebrews 10:37) " YET IN A LITTLE WHILE, He that shall come, will come and will not tarry. Do you see it. "Yet in a little while" How long ago was that written? Has Christ come yet? No! Almost 2,000 years have passed, God calling it "Yet in a little time" NEXT: you say I quietly shifted the goal posts, the discussion began with the Beast and Nero, now it became an argument about the word "SOON" you say. No I think if you read your comment again, you will notice you brought up the reference to "soon", as a reference to establish that Nero was the Antichrist and then if you read my comment again you will notice, I addressed Nero by pointing you to Revelation chapter 19 and 20, that to me should prove that Nero was not the Antichrist, so having felt that I established scriptural proof that Nero couldn't be the Antichrist that I moved on to the next reference, you yourself brought up which was timeline "Soon". And now that you mention it, if there's any shifting done possibly it's you that did it, (read the topic of your last post to me) and notice you did not address Revelation 19 and 20, at all, focusing on "soon" "the time is near" "the judge is at the door" "yet in a little while" instead of what you say was the meat of our discussion "the Beast and Nero" you would have to ask yourself why is that.
This exchange explains the problem rather neatly.
You've been arguing against a caricature of postmillennialism instead of the position itself. Before confidently refuting a view, it's usually a good idea to understand what its proponents actually teach. Otherwise you're boxing a scarecrow and congratulating yourself for winning.
Historic postmillennialism does not teach that Christ's bodily Second Coming occurred in AD 70. It teaches that Christ came in judicial judgment, exactly as Yahweh repeatedly "came on the clouds" against nations throughout the Old Testament without physically descending from heaven. Read Isaiah 19 against Egypt, Isaiah 13 against Babylon, or Micah 1. This is standard prophetic language, not a theological novelty.
Jesus said, "This generation will not pass away until all these things take place." Jerusalem fell. The temple fell. The old covenant order ended. Exactly on schedule. Christ kept His word.
Ironically, you've embraced the very objection Christopher Hitchens loved to use against Christians. His argument was simple: "Jesus said He was coming soon. Two thousand years later He still hasn't. Therefore Jesus was mistaken."
Douglas Wilson dismantled that argument precisely because he did not read those time texts through a futurist lens. He pointed to the judgment on Jerusalem as the covenantal coming of Christ that vindicated His prophecy within the lifetime of that generation.
So before accusing me of inventing an escape hatch, I'd suggest becoming familiar with the historic postmillennial position you're attempting to refute. Start with the Douglas Wilson versus Christopher Hitchens debate. You'll discover that Wilson's answer to Hitchens is fundamentally incompatible with the futurist assumptions you've been defending.
It's difficult to refute a position you've never actually taken the time to understand. At the moment, you're not arguing with postmillennialism. You're arguing with your imagination of postmillennialism, and your imagination is losing to church history.
My fine feathered friend, you're not having a good day. I never accused you of inventing an escape hatch (it's exactly the opposite) read your comment again. You brought up the escape hatch initially. You accused me of an escape hatch, I simply responded to what you said, by questioning you accusing me of using an escape hatch. If you don't remember what you said? If you don't understand what you said? How then shall we discuss anything deeper in the scriptures? And as if that isn't bad enough, then you go on to say (of me) and I quote. "Ironically you've embraced the very objection Christopher Hitchens love to use against Christians. His argument was simple Jesus said he was coming soon 2,000 years later he still hasn't therefore Jesus was mistaken. Read what I said again, slowly, ask God for discernment. I'm saying virtually the opposite. Christopher Hitchens argument is closer to what you're saying, not to what I'm saying. You're the one that said, "soon" would be in their lifetime or else it was meaningless to them to tell them soon. Did you not say that? So if according to you soon was in their lifetime and it didn't happen in their lifetime you would be the one saying Jesus made a mistake. (not me) I'm arguing the other side of the coin. I'm the one that's saying, that with God A thousand years is as a day, so when Jesus said "Soon" he did not mean in their lifetime, for in the eyes of God 2,000 years is soon(compared to eternity) Therefore Jesus is not wrong, Christopher Hitchens is, and it seems you're not far behind. If upon rereading your comments as well as mine again and still you cannot see that, we best just leave it there. If you have made Jesus Christ your lord and savior, that's the main thing, when the Antichrist will appear, is interesting to discuss, but that's as far as it goes. At just the right time as Christ did the first time, Christ will appear the second time, to those that love him and are looking for his appearing, Nero or no Nero, Antichrist or no Antichrist. God bless you God keep you,may God cause his face to shine upon you. In Jesus name. Amen
He does not know Gods Word and he speaks to prove it.

King James Version
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

Wide is the path that leads to Jabs & destruction... Rapture or Remanent ? There will be many tests in the near future.
When you have the Holy Spirit indwelling you - The Kingdom is already within you guiding you home. You are the body of His Church and He Jesus Christ is the Head. You are already THERE but THERE isnt quite HERE yet. But it is, in you. Every man in his own order (that is a military term.) You have been drafted into His army of saints. Funny how the drops parallel a lot of Bible prophecy eh? The PLAN is indeed BIBLICAL.
Amen. Thank you, bro.
You can only worship what you know. When you k ow your way around tech better than God Word ot doesnt matter if you claim to be a Chrisitian, you will be serving that tech. Too many Chrisitians have everything else before God, He is just an after thought or a popular fad. Gods Word is reality. Everything else a lie. Start there and your eyes will be opened if you will it so.
