I only use windows at this moment b/c I have to for certain applications namely Fusion360. In another life linux was what I worked with for a number of years. Personally if you do not need to use windows, I would suggest linux.
Given all we know about what is going on. I question how "critical" some of these security flaws actually are, or perhaps they are actually introducing a flaw. I would say that 99% of the warnings put out are legit, maybe they all are. I just question things now waaaay more than used to 5 yrs ago.
