i know for a fact that an attempt was made in ohio at the airport in swanton.
i've got friends in that local law enforcement circle and they were all talking about catching three guys with long rifles on the overpass nearby. the next day, even after potus had been long gone, the road was still closed down and taped off.
it was never on the news, it was never in the local papers, and it was brushed off as a false rumor.
but all the cops i know in that area all swear it happened and they were told not to talk about it.
