Sadly I think you're being overly optimistic about the situation. I hope I am completely wrong. But chain of custody will matter in any court due to the nature of the crimes. You can't put someone to hang on a technicality. Besides it'll take 30 years of appeals even if found guilty and no judge wants to be remembered as the judge that sentenced Obama to death.
Itll never be admissable in court because it has no chain of custody.
Their whole defense would only have to be someone else manufactured all of it. You can't prove its origin.
Now it may assist in finding other crimes they committed. But that a completely different issue
