You can use simple logic - nothing has to be told or taught.
Does good exist? Then so does the opposite.
Does truth exist? Then so does the opposite.
If there is something that can exist, Then there must also be a state of non-existence.
We cannot comprehend non-existence because we only exist.
Therefore, God is what can understand, traverse, and create something that both exists and things that do not.
Logic provides answers without text books.
