Kevin McCarthy called for Mayorkas to resign in November or face an impeachment inquiry
Texas Republican Rep. Pat Fallon has filed impeachment articles against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, delivering on a promise he made last week before the 118th Congress was officially sworn in.
The articles of impeachment against Mayorkas for "high crimes and misdemeanors," known as House Resolution 8, were introduced by Fallon in the House on Monday and have been referred to the House Judiciary Committee.
Last week, Fallon vowed to file impeachment articles against Mayorkas after the Congress was sworn in. The effort from Republicans in the House is one of many that the new GOP majority will take as it works to fight the Biden administration on issues related to immigration and the southern border crisis.
"Since day one, Secretary Mayorkas’ policies have undermined law enforcement activities at our southern border," Fallon said in a statement to Fox News last week. "From perjuring himself before Congress about maintaining operational control of the border to the infamous ‘whip-gate’ slander against our border patrol agents, Secretary Mayorkas has proven time and time again that he is unfit to lead the Department of Homeland Security."
"His willful actions have eroded our immigration system, undermined border patrol morale, and jeopardized American national security. He has violated the law and it is time for him to go," Fallon added.
While there is currently no text available for the impeachment articles filed against Mayorkas, Fox News reported last week that Fallon's first article alleges that Mayorkas has failed to faithfully execute the "Secure the Fence Act of 2006." The article says that law requires the secretary of Homeland Security to "maintain operational control over the entire international land and maritime borders of the United States."
The second article alleges that Mayorkas, "in violation of his constitutional oath, willfully provided perjurious, false, and misleading testimony to Congress." To back up that charge, the article quotes Mayorkas' testimony during April 26 and Nov. 15 congressional hearings in which he said the border was secure.
The final of the three articles charges that Mayorkas "publicly and falsely slandered" border agents who were accused – but later cleared – of whipping Haitian migrants in Del Rio, Texas, in 2021.

Prince Harry’s new bombshell memoir is turning out to be quite the grave affair for the royal family.
The Duke of Sussex, 38, wrote many shocking anecdotes about his life as the “Spare” heir to the British throne — but none more bizarre than describing his family as a “death cult.”
While his much-hyped, highly guarded tell-all isn’t set to be officially released until Jan. 10, early copies were spectacularly leaked in Spain last week.
While looking back at his memories of time with his estranged brother Prince William, Harry noted in his book that their lives “were built on death” and their experiences were overshadowed by grief — according to an excerpt shared by the Sun.
“I saw that even our finest moments, and my best memories, somehow involved death,” the Invictus Games founder penned.
“Our lives were built on death, our brightest days shadowed by it. Looking back, I didn’t see spots of time, but dances with death . . . maybe we were a death cult.”
Harry also scribed how Windsor Castle — one of the Firm’s royal residences in England — is a “tomb, the walls filled with ancestors.”
The Tower of London, Harry explained, is “held together with the blood of animals.”
The dedication page has also been revealed from the leaked book, with William, 40, nor his father, King Charles, 74, making the list.
The memoir is dedicated to his wife, Meghan Markle, their children Archie and Lilibet, and lastly, his late mother Princess Diana.
Ahead of his book’s release, Harry opened up more about the status of his relationship with his older brother, father and “villain” stepmom Camilla last night in a tell-all interview with Anderson Cooper on Sunday’s “60 Minutes.”
The father of two claimed he hasn’t spoken to William and Charles “in awhile.”
Harry then admitted that he currently does not have contact with either men and the last time they talked together was “not recently.”
Harry explained that he’s “look[ing] forward” to reconciling with the monarch and the Duke of Cambridge.
“Meghan and I have continued to say that we will openly apologize for anything that we did wrong — but every time we ask that question, no one’s telling us the specifics or anything,” he said.
“I really look forward to having that family element back,” he went on. “I look forward to having a relationship with my brother. I look forward to having a relationship with my father and other members of my family.”

Former President Donald Trump has confirmed that he would accept the role of Speaker of the House if asked to serve.
Both Kari Lake and Gen. Michael Flynn confirmed the news to The Western Journal.
“I talked to President Trump last night and told him he would be great and he should do it,” Lake told The Western Journal. “[I said] that he could take Congress from the most hated branch of [government] to the favorite branch.”
Flynn subsequently told The Western Journal the following, according to the report: “Trump says, ‘I will do it.’”
On Thursday, Donald Trump received a vote to be Speaker of the House. The vote was cast by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), a member of the “Never McCarthy Nineteen.”

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, announced on Thursday the issuance of an arrest warrant for former U.S. President Donald Trump, according to Baghdad Today news agency.
Zaidan mentioned in a statement that the Iraqi judiciary issued an arrest warrant for former U.S. President Donald Trump, who confessed to having committed the crime, calling on those investigating the assassination of the Quds Force commander, Qasem Soleimani, and chief of staff of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in Iraq, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, to make an exceptional effort to uncover the perpetrators, Baghdad Today news agency reported.
“Why has he not yet been held accountable for this heinous crime?” Zaidan asked, referring to Donald Trump.
The U.S. army carried out a military operation in which Soleimani was assassinated near Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020.
The operation, in which Al-Muhandis was also assassinated, led to an escalation of tension between the United States and Iran, which vowed strong revenge.
The Iranian army, a few days following the operation, responded by firing missiles at Ain Al-Assad base, the largest U.S. base in Iraq.
The U.S. forces in Iraq were also subjected to a series of attacks by pro-Iranian Iraqi groups last year.
I am aware Q was referring to AG Jeff Sessions, but it is notable that Q uses "Jeff Sessions" a few times, but often uses "trust Sessions" without specifying Jeff, although I believe it is inferred. However, multiple meanings exist right?
Whether this is a Qincident or not, it is relevant info on how/why this is moving forward.
Scott Sessions Harris
American lawyer serving since September 2013 as the 20th Clerk of the Supreme Court of the United States. Prior to appointment to his current position, Harris spent 11 years as the Supreme Court's legal counsel.

(Wiki sucks but for simple facts, I'll use it, it's easy)
What does the clerk do?
Something similar to what federal court clerks do. Primarily, their role is to sift through the thousands of petitions and mark the cases worthy of being granted time. “It's the most basic task, and the constant thing that you do – during the summer it's practically your only task.” The petitions that lawyers write very cleverly argue why their cases should be granted; the clerk's job is “to screen out those that are legitimate and write bench memos on what we think about the case.”

Scott was previously SCOTUS legal council. What do they do?
The office's initial mission was to provide continuity of experience in the preliminary consideration of extraordinary motions. The lawyers who staffed the office would hopefully provide the Court with a quick and reliable institutional memory for details. The Legal Office is responsible for centralizing and stabilizing the Supreme Court's work by assisting in legal matters, preparing work for weekly conferences, recommending strategies for pending cases, helping justices with personal responses and circuit tasks, and taking on special projects required by the Chief Justice, special chambers, or the Court as a whole.
What is the point?
Scott helped the brothers get this before the court.
Here is the interview with Loy:
Loy Brunson and the Supreme Court Case of The Century.
0:17:17 Brunson first mentions Sessions ~ "The Clerk of the Court is the Gatekeeper."
0:56:45 Brunson~ … "I think the Clerk of the Court [Sessions] … is SMART. He gets it. He sees it. …
1:06:00 Brunson ~ "For 11-years, Scott SESSIONS Harris was the attorney for the Supreme Court."
1:11:00 Brunson ~ [Sessions] "is probable specially schooled, trained and licensed to be able to handle any kind of legal liability that the supreme count might incur" …
Whatever your opinion of him this is interesting reading. Q stuff starts on page 33.
TheDonald and Patriots are mentioned on page 17 and 53. Not GAW though, dernit. kek
