NY resident here. All of upstate NY despises Cuomo. If it wasn't for NYC, NY would be red. Too many illegal aliens, people living off the system, and wall street dems in NYC to ever make a dent. Like Illinois, we are at the mercy of a singular city full of people who feel they have superiority over the rest of the state.
Same experience. Joined a new church that was anti Jab and anti mask. It is thriving with tons of new young like minded families. The Sunday school program is flourishing with both kids and volunteers. And I’m in New York State.
