I'm watching the Hallmark Channel and just saw a commercial where a guy is watching TV when he calls out "Hey a pharmaceutical commercial is about to come on!" And all his friends excitedly come running.
Are they trying to get us to believe that we the people demand our pharmaceutical commercials so when RFK Jr tries to ban them we'll cry out "Save the pharma ads!" ?
This weekend my church is showing "The Polar Express" (ugh! Tom Hanks the pedo) and they are serving pizza and hot dogs (gah!)
My dominant hand wrist was destroyed 10 months ago (radius is held together with metal, tip of the ulna is broken off, wrist bones were severely dislocated, and I have ulnar nerve damage) and I haven't learned to write with my non-dominant hand. So I carefully signed my name. Signature got rejected by the machine so I was asked for ID. Person who checked my ID said it was very close to the signature on my ID. Should I have screamed "That's racist to ask for ID!" ?
The voting machines we use gives us the option of printing a paper copy to review BUT it stays with the machine. If we press print copy, the machine prints it on a little printer next to the machine and we review it page by page. But the copy remains attached to the printer and is under glass. I'm a weirdo who prints everything but I've noticed most of the other voters don't. Any idea what happens to the printed copy? And should I encourage other voters to print for review? TIA!
I had never heard this quote before today. Oh! If only he knew how correct he was!!
