The comments here are downright depressing. Only a handful kept their heads. The rest are clinging desperately to their favored narrative, employing retarded levels of denial and confirmation bias to do so.
Two cardinal rules were broken by many here in responding to that post:

Never get emotionally attached to a narrative or influencer
As the post itself was heavily upvoted, I suspect many of these bad comments were artificially upvoted by shills using alt accounts. With downvotes being broken there was no way to counter them. But that is only part of the problem. If frogs lost the plot this badly over Trump calling out FAGA then they have not learned enough to make it through the storm.
When something does not make sense to you, take a breather. Give it 72 hours. Likely you will see it differently after some thought, or new info will provide context. The absolute worst thing to do is get emotional and go reaching to reinforce what you think is true. If people care about saving this country, saving the world from the evil we have learned of in the past ten years, they must learn to PROTECT THEIR MINDS by CONTROLLING THEIR EMOTIONS.
Disappointed as I am in the board, this is the best rebuke I can muster. Hopefully more articulate frogs will chime in to help make the point.
