Have you ever watched any sci-fi movies? What happens to a spaceship once the hull gets punctured? The air and atmosphere of the ship starts immediately escaping fast... Thats because the solid barrier separating the two failed... Earth doesnt have any solid barrier stopping leakage of atmosphere into the vacuum of space. And you would have to be insane to believe that gravity is holding it all together, and that gravity is far stronger than the power of vacuum of space to rip out atmosphere...

Check out the amateur weather balloons that people send up to 120,000 feet into the sky, with a camera (that doesnt have a fish eye lens) showing that horizon is perfectly level and there is no curve.

Get a piece of paper, A4 or whatever, place a dot in the middle, and scatter some dots around the edge of the page... now, the dot in the middle is our solar system, the dots on the left are stars we see during winter nights, the dots on the right are stars we should see during summer nights. Doesnt matter how far they are, they are not the same dots that are on the left side. But you are being told "no it doesnt work that way, the stars are SOOOO far away, that what you see on paper is false"

What is absurd is looking up in the sky to prove what we stand on. Its like saying the billiard balls are round therefore the table they are on must also be round!
I honestly agree with you that this sounds retarded, I was in your position about 10 years ago... I watched all of the scifi shit, learned planets and other solar systems, the big stars out there in the vastness of void. And thought all of this shit was absurd, until I looked into it more.

When earth rotates around the sun and the seasons change, why do we see the same stars when it is winter and when it is summer? The earth is supposed to be of the other side of the orbit, with the night side facing into the opposite direction during summer and during winter...

No worries friend. I appreciate your constructive input and your perspective. the simple fact is, the scientist have been brought up on regurgitating the info they learned in a book. This is why stuff like "ships going over the horizon" can be easily proven to be false, its all about atmospheric density and line of sight perspective. If you take P900 or P1000 camera and zoom in, you will see the entire ship AND water further behind it, which should be over the curve. And to explain this, the "scientist" claim that it is a refraction... Which is provably false.
The thing is, it is easier to fool an intelligent person, because once you present some numbers to them and say some authority figured this out, they are more likely to not question it, and then they get their ego involved, that after 20 years of studying, anything you question them on, they will take it as a personal attack on them. Since they studied for 20 years and they know better than you or me. they got a diploma and university certification, which proves only 1 thing, they cna remember and regurgitate data that was given to them...
